Join us at our popular Austrian pub quiz evening at the George Inn Pub (a 5-minute walk from London Bridge tube station)!
It will follow the traditional pub quiz approach whereby teams will battle it out to be named the Austrian Pub Quiz Champions 2024 and win fabulous prizes!
​

The quiz will be upstairs in the bright and spacious Winchester room, which has been reserved for the Austrian Club London.

Registration starts at 6.30 pm - the quiz begins at 7 pm and will end around 9 pm.

The theme of the quiz will be a mix of topics related to either Austria or Great Britain. There will be 10 rounds of questions on different categories (ie geography, TV/movies, music, sports, arts & culture, etc). There will also be a picture round.

The quiz will be held in English, so non-Austrians are welcome too!

Upon arrival, we will put together teams of 4-6 people. You are welcome to come alone and we will find a team for you!

There will be a prize for the winning team!

Success & Challenges
in Male-Dominated Industries
​
As a follow-up to the very successful inaugural event in May 2019, this time we will feature successful Austrian female leaders, who have established themselves in male-dominated industries and sectors, such as financal technologies and professional sports.
Speakers for this event will include Viktoria Schnaderbeck, captain of the Austrian football national team and player of Arsenal Women FC, and Susanne Chishti, CEO of Fintech Circle. Participants will be given a first-hand account of how these women got to where they are today, what inspired them to face their challenges and what they would recommend other aspiring female professionals to do. There will be an opportunity to ask targeted questions as well as exchange contact details and business ideas.

We will meet up at the Austrian House, where you can buy and indulge some popular Austrian street food specialities. After that our guide Julia will walk with us through the city to provide us with highlights and facts of the City of London. The tour will end at the Tower of London where we will take part at the Key Ceremony, which is an ancient ritual held at the Tower, when the main gates are locked for the night. It is said to be the oldest extant military ceremony in the world.
